The History
The property has been in our family since May 1959, when Mark and Ruth Longacre purchased the land and began a dairy farm that thrived for over forty years. Their son Al continued the tradition, and today, the farm remains in the family with Adam and Hollie Longacre at the helm. With the support of loved ones, they’ve transformed the property into a charming destination for couples seeking a rustic, romantic wedding venue.
While the dairy cows have moved on, the farm is still home to a friendly herd of beef cattle — some of whom have even made guest appearances in wedding photos!
What makes Longacre Farm truly special is our identity as a working farm that just happens to host weddings in a beautifully preserved hayloft. We’ve taken great care to maintain the timeless character of our century-old barn, hand-built by our ancestors, while ensuring modern comforts like electricity and indoor plumbing are in place so your guests feel right at home.
